Is New World Open beta?

New World is not in open beta. The game will have one final closed beta test lasting two weeks, ready for the game’s full release on August 31.

How do I get the New World beta key?

There are two ways of gaining access to the game. The first is to preorder to secure guaranteed access via Amazon or Steam. The other is to sign up to the testers’ page on the New World website.

Will my New World progress carry over to release?

All progress made during the New World Closed Beta test will get wiped upon the end of the beta test. Beta testers will begin anew when the full game launches on August 31.

Can I stream the closed beta?

Yes, the embargo lifts as soon as the New World Closed Beta goes live, allowing streamers and content creators to produce content on New World.
