NRG Esports is a Los Angeles-based eSports organization with rosters in Apex Legends, Call of Duty as the Chicago Huntsmen, Fornite, Gears of War, Overwatch as the San Francisco Shock, Rocket League, and Smash Ultimate. The team was founded in 2015 as a relatively small operation before expanding its scope in subsequent years with investments from the likes of music superstar Tiesto.
