Valorant’s Act 1 Episode 2 is on its way out of the door, making room for the next Act of Valorant’s life-span. Valorant Act 2 Episode 2 will launch on soon, bringing with it a whole new Agent, Battle Pass, Ranked Season, and more. Here are all the details you need to know.

Update - Act 2 now live

Riot Games has announced that Act 2 is now live in North America, LATAM, and Brazil. The new Act contains a whole new battle pass, trailer, and Astra is now live. Players from those regions can head into the game and try all this out for themselves. The remaining regions will need to wait until after Act 1 ends before they can earn the new content.

When do Act 1 end and Act 2 begin?

Act 1 Episode 2 is due to end at different times for various regions. North America, Latin America and Brazil are due to end at 4:30 AM PST on Tuesday, 2 March. Meanwhile, Act 1 in Europe won’t end until 3 March at 2:30 AM GMT or 3:30 CET.

With that said, it could be possible that the North American release date for Act 2 is only a few hours away. Meanwhile, the European release window could be another day off. This is not the first time this has happened, with North America getting Episode 2 a day early than European players.

Different regions have that much time left to complete their Ranked and/or Battle Pass Grind before Act 1 comes to an end.

Astra

Astra is the latest Agent coming to the game. Riot Games got their inspiration for Astra from African Futurism. She has explored the depths of space, and her abilities reflect her space travelling nature.

The core of Astra’s gameplay is to place stars around the map, which she can later activate to performs different functions.

Role - Controller

Gravity Well: Place Stars in Astral Form (X). Activate a Star to form a Gravity Well. Players in the area are pulled toward the centre before it explodes. Enemies will want to be cautious of this, otherwise, they'll find themselves vulnerable.

Nova Pulse: Place Stars in Astral Form (X). Activate a Star to detonate a Nova Pulse. The Nova Pulse charges briefly then strikes, concussing all players in its area, creating room to assault the crowd controlled enemies.

Signature Ability – Nebula: Place Stars in Astral Form (X). Activate a Star to transform it into a spaced themed smoke.

Dissipate: Use (F) on a Star to Dissipate it, returning the star to be placed in a new location after a delay. Dissipate briefly forms a fake Nebula (smoke) at the star’s former location.

Ultimate Ability – Astral Form/Cosmic Divide: Activate to enter Astral Form where Astra can place even more Stars. Stars can be reactivated later, transforming them into a Nova Pulse, Nebula, or Gravity Well. Astra can become even more controlling in these rounds.

When Cosmic Divide is charged, use the secondary fire key while in Astral Form to begin aiming, then shoot it at the two destinations. An infinite Cosmic Divide connects the two points you select. Cosmic Divide blocks bullets and heavily dampens audio, acting as a wall.

Astra enters a space like world and hovers over the map. This concept is similar to Omen's Shadow Realm.

Prime 2.0

Prime 2.0 is the new skin line coming out with the release of Act 2 Episode 2. The skinline takes an alternative approach to an already released skinline. The new skins use white as the primary colour, with a tint of purple and gold rims.

The Prime 2.0 skinline is available on the Odin, Phantom, Bucky, Frenzy, and Karambit Knife. This is the first time Riot Games has updated and modified an already existing skin line in Valorant. New renditions may come out for previous skinlines if this is received well by the community.

This is all the information we know on the release of Valorant Act 2 Episode 2. We will update this article as we get more information.
